Data Partners
SeaZone works closely with UK and overseas statutory mapping agencies and other data providers encouraging the widest possible use and accessibility to available data. SeaZone collates and adds value to unrefined and authoritative sources of data to provide comprehensive base and associate reference information for the marine environment and coastal zone.
SeaZone actively promotes data management best practises and inter-operability amongst stakeholders and is encouraging the uptake of the Digital National Framework (DNF).
SeaZone encourages public and private sector organisations to cooperate with and to provide data to national mapping agencies and SeaZone to improve the UK's base mapping on land and sea. SeaZone works closely with the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO), to bring best available hydrographic data to the marine geographic information sector. In addition, we provide data and mapping services to UKHO for the creation of inter-operable datasets and data products used by the Ministry of Defence and in support of data acquisition and capacity and capability building projects worldwide. In addition to the UKHO, SeaZone collates and adds value to data from hydrographic offices and other marine data providers around the world to provide the most comprehensive and up to date marine mapping products available for use in GIS. |

As an Ordnance Survey of Great Britain (OSGB) Developer Partner, and with close links with OS Ireland and Northern Ireland, SeaZone is creating datasets that are inter-operable at the shoreline and provide continuous 3-D surface and topographic mapping from land to sea. |

| British Geological Survey |  |
SeaZone is a value added reseller of British Geological Survey (BGS) and embeds BGS marine datasets (DigSBS and DigRock) within SeaZone HydroSpatial. In addition, SeaZone and BGS are working jointly with UKHO and MOD to create a new high resolution SeaBed Geology dataset and other initiatives. |
