SEAZONE LOOKS FOR STRATEGIC PARTNER
The UK Hydrographic Office has announced it is looking for a strategic partner for its marine geographic information solutions subsidiary, SeaZone Solutions Ltd. SeaZone’s MD, Dr Mike Osborne, stated, “Hydrographic offices provide excellent service for the navigator. However, in order support environment protection, economic development and risk mitigation in response to climate change and terrorism, there is growing need for the marine geographic information and related services SeaZone provides.“
Dr Osborne continues, “The need for hydrographic information is a global phenomenon and SeaZone is ideally placed to support this need worldwide. As SeaZone moves from being primarily UK based to offering worldwide capability to its customers, we are looking for one or more strategic partners with a global presence and complementary expertise to help build SeaZone into an international business.”
