Marine studies for Hornsea Two offshore wind farm

The UK Government recently approved plans for Hornsea Project Two, potentially the world’s largest offshore wind farm. The 300 turbine project, owned by DONG Energy, is to be located fifty-five miles off the coast of Grimsby and is expected to deliver up to 1.8 gigawatts of electricity which could meet the electricity needs of 1.6 million UK homes. This second phase follows the 1.2 gigawatt Hornsea Project One offshore wind farm, which has already secured Development Consent.  Continue reading ›

Researching next-generation wind turbine foundations for DONG Energy
