Training

By far the quickest and most cost-effective way to maximise the benefits from your SeaZone data and software is to request training by a SeaZone expert. Hands-on training is provided at your offices or at third-party training facilities.

SeaZone provides courses for a variety of levels of experience for Cadcorp, ESRI and MapInfo users.

SeaZone training courses allow for users own data or specific queries to be included. Please pre-arrange this with SeaZone at least two weeks in advance of the course.

Introduction to Cadcorp Map Editor and SeaZone data (1 day)

Introduction to SeaZone Temporal Viewer (1/2 day)

Introduction to ADCP Processing (1 day) pre-requisite: an understanding of ADCP data

(SeaZone Data Training Days are for existing GIS users - a minimum of 6 months GIS experience is required for this course or the completion of one of SeaZone's Introductory courses)

All the above courses are for the latest version of the software, if users have older versions then this may be accommodated, please contact SeaZone for further information.

We recommend a class size of up to 6 persons where onsite training is delivered using facilities provided by the customer. This should include PCs, software and data, and an LCD projector and screen. SeaZone will provide a trainer, with appropriate Laptop PC containing relevant software data, and training material for each trainee to keep. If required, third-party facilities can be arranged at an additional cost.
